Canada: Lee Coleman recognized for excellence in organic clothing

Shannon Lee Coleman, Owner of Modern Vintage Attic, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in organic clothing.

As the owner of Modern Vintage Attic, Ms. Coleman researches products and suppliers in order to abide by trade practices. She is also responsible for checking and verifying products; maintaining her websites, managing inventory control and shipping orders.

She became involved in her profession because her daughter was allergic to specific fibers and fabrics, which sparked her interest in organic clothing. Ms. Coleman has completed coursework in entrepreneurship, and is considering opening a storefront in the future.

Modern Vintage Attic is devoted to ethical fashion and eco-friendly accessories, organic clothing which has been made solely in North America. The company works with local North American artisans and with international women's cooperatives that instill fair trade principles.

The company has also been approved by Green America and is an active member of the Organic Trade Association. Ms. Coleman is an interior designer by trade, and has been in the residential building industry for 15 years.
